Laser Resection of Bronchus Intermedius.

Patient: A 51-year-old female presented with complaints of a prolonged productive cough (cough with sputum) and general weakness. She had no prior history of lung disease.

Physical Examination (Auscultation): Weakened breath sounds on the right side accompanied by occasional dry and wet wheezes (crackles/rhonchi).

Diagnostic Findings:

Chest CT: Revealed a soft-tissue density mass occupying the lumen of the right bronchus intermediate.

Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy: Confirmed a tumorous obstruction of the right bronchus intermediate.

Intervention & Outcome: Endobronchial laser resection of the lesion was planned and successfully performed on July 6, 2026. The patient was monitored for one hospital day and was discharged home in an improved condition.
