laser resection and stenting; NSCLC.

70 year old male. Over the past month, the patient developed a cough with hemorrhagic sputum, shortness of breath, left-sided pain in the chest. CT scan revealed atelectasis of the left upper lobe. Bronchoscopy showed complete tumor occlusion of the left main bronchus. Histopathological diagnosis of biopsy - squamous cell carcinoma. The patient has been assessed as inoperable. In agreement with the oncologist, it was decided to perform a laser resection before chemotherapy, to avoid side effects during the procedure. laser resection was done using VELASTM 30W Surgical Diode Laser System. Except the laser resection, silicon stent has been placed in the left main bronchus to avoid re-closing. After procedure the patient feels good. Eendoscopically left main bronchus is fully pass through. Histomorphology of the resected tumor proved the diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma.

62 year old male. In 2013 he was diagnosed with a carcinoid of the left lower bronchus. Recently, the patient's condition worsened. He developed tormental cough with hemorrhagic-purulent sputum, periodically turning into bleeding. By Thoracic surgeons the patient has been assessed as inoperable, therefore the patient underwent laser resection using VELASTM 30W Surgical Diode Laser System . After procedure the patient feels good. On Chest CT scan and endoscopically left main bronchus is fully pass through. Histomorphology of the biopsy revealed adenocarcinoma.

Laser Resection; Mesenchymal origin Spindle Cell Tumour

56 year old male. Two months before admission the patient has dyspnea, spasmodic cough, appears fever.CT scan and bronchoscopy revealed endobronchial formation, which completely blocked the lumen of the left main bronchus. Endobronchial biopsy revealed Mesenchymal origin Spindle Cell Tumour. The patient's condition worsened and under vital indications the laser resection was performed using VELASTM 30W Surgical Diode Laser System. After the recanalisation of the lumen from the lower lobe goes a lot of purulent mass. After antibiotic therapy the patient feels well.

52 year old male. One month of medical history. Chest CT revealed subcarinal tissue mass that completely blocked the lumen of the left main bronchus and the right upper lobe bronchus. Endobronchial biopsy revealed squamous-cell carcinoma. The patient's condition worsened, He wasn’t able to sleep for last 2 weeks due to suffocation and under vital indications the laser resection was performed using VELASTM 30W Surgical Diode Laser System. As a result, his breathing immediately improved . On the second phase was made stenting for prevention restenosis of the left main bronchus.
